This project was created as part of the Level Up programme at Realtime UK, an initiative designed to support artists entering the 3D industry. Working in a team of four, I took on the role of project lead for the development of a short real-time cinematic in Unreal Engine. The brief was to create a surreal environment inspired by the work of Simon Stålenhag.
As Unreal Engine was new to the team, the project focused on learning real-time workflows while exploring the engine’s strengths and limitations for environment creation and cinematic storytelling.
